Lily Pomerance

Final Major Project

Lenox & Malcolm X

Once given the brief for the FMP, I had a few strong ideas on  what I wanted to create.

However after developing my music video idea, I was confident  wanted to make a music video. I began thinking into what I would like it to look like and what sort of song I would like to use.

When making my mood bord, I used bright colours to match the colours I want to see in my music video. I want the video to be bright with varied colours as these relate to happiness and high energy. I also used pictures of picnics and people surrounded by nature as I plan for my music video to be 3 girls having a picnic in a park. I added pictures of incense because I wanted to use some when filming and wanted the video to be spiritual.

Once deciding I wanted to make a music video, I wrote my project proposal.

Once confident on my idea, I created myself a Gantt chart to keep myself on task.  I also made myself a SWOT analysis to assess my weaknesses and strengths.

I then began research. I looked at types of music videos at how to create a effective one.

I also looked at a music video for research, inspiration, and to learn about how professionally made music videos look.

Alongside this, I did some of my own primary research to see what people thought and to experiment using slow motion on a camera.
